About The Position

Redpath is undergoing a significant organizational and systems transformation and is establishing a Compliance Audit Function. This function aims to ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across its business units. The role has evolved from an audit-support position to a legal and compliance governance role, assisting the General Counsel / Chief Compliance Officer with RMI legal matters, compliance program implementation, privacy and data governance, internal investigations, training, vendor risk management, and the escalation of legal and compliance risks. The Compliance Legal Counsel will support the Compliance department, monitor adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, conduct compliance reviews and audits, and collaborate with departments to resolve compliance issues. This role also provides initial legal support for assigned RMI contractual matters, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor terms, liability provisions, subcontracting clauses, privacy obligations, and related commercial risk allocation. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders for compliance management and continuous development. It also demands proactive engagement, ownership, sound legal reasoning, clear escalation judgment, and the ability to work closely with the GC/CCO while maintaining appropriate legal and compliance governance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Compliance department.
