About The Position

Aqua Finance is seeking a motivated Compliance Intern to support our Compliance team through hands-on, project-based work. This internship offers meaningful exposure to compliance and regulatory operations, with opportunities to contribute to real projects, conduct research, and support process improvements that impact the organization. The role is designed for students who are curious, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how compliance functions in a real-world business environment. Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a University or College at a minimum of Junior Undergraduate Status
• Pursuing a degree in compliance, business, pre-law, finance, risk management or a related field
• Completion of relevant coursework related to your field of study prior to the start of the internship
• Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during the internship period
• Availability to participate for at least 10 weeks of the 12-week program

Responsibilities

• Contribute to defined compliance projects that provide hands-on exposure to regulatory requirements and internal compliance processes
• Participate in a file organization and improvement project, helping modernize electronic compliance records while learning documentation and retention best practices
• Complete assigned compliance research projects, summarizing findings to support ongoing compliance initiatives and team decision-making
