About The Position

As a Compliance Field Technician, you will travel to customer sites and perform testing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance that help fuel facilities operate safely and remain compliant.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Comfortable using basic technology for field documentation
• Strong attention to safety and the ability to follow technical procedures
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Background in trades, industrial, commercial, construction, field service, or other hands-on work environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites for testing, inspection, and service work
• Set up testing equipment and safety equipment
• Access underground storage tank systems, including removing manhole lids
• Perform precision underground tank and line tightness testing
• Conduct leak detector testing and ATG certification
• Perform Stage I and Stage II vapor recovery testing
• Complete cathodic protection testing and secondary containment testing
• Conduct third-party facility operations inspections at gas station locations
• Assist with containment sump repairs
• Perform gasoline and diesel fuel tank cleaning
• Complete minor maintenance on tank and line systems
• Document work accurately using a tablet, phone, or computer
• Safely operate a DOT-registered commercial motor vehicle
