Requirements

  • Expertise in understanding and implementing industry specific compliance standards and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and their application within compliance frameworks.
  • Skilled in leading compliance projects from initiation through completion with minimal guidance.
  • Proficient in diagnosing complex compliance issues and developing effective solutions based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Ability to convey medium complexity compliance information clearly to diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Skilled in developing and executing compliance strategies that align with organizational goals and market differentiators.
  • Expertise in identifying and evaluating potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and subject matter experts to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Proficient in analyzing and improving compliance processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Capability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and influence internal networks to drive compliance initiatives.
  • 4 Year Bachelors BS degree AND 4+ years equivalent experience
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and ensures adherence to relevant industry regulations and internal standards across engineering projects.
  • Develops and updates compliance policies and procedures to align with changing regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Conducts regular compliance audits and assessments, identifying and addressing areas of nonconformance.
  • Partners with engineering, legal, and operational teams to integrate compliance considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Provides guidance and training to engineering teams on compliance requirements and best practices to foster a culture of compliance.
