About this opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive DOT Compliance Coordinator to join our compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet and incoming drivers adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will maintain, audit and update records for drug/alcohol testing administration and driver qualifications. Schedule This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $18-$21/hour dependent on experience. Requirements

  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft 365
  • Detail oriented and efficient minded

Responsibilities

  • Oversee driver medical qualifications in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Monitor expiration dates of DOT medical certificates and schedule accordingly.
  • Maintain records of work restrictions and return-to-duty clearances.
  • Communicate with other departments as needed with non-sensitive information.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drug and alcohol tests for current fleet and incoming drivers.
  • Ensure all information received is treated with confidentiality and documented appropriately
