About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator – International supports the organization’s international compliance program by ensuring contract requirements, regulatory obligations, applicable FAR clauses, international standards, and internal company requirements are identified, documented, monitored, and consistently followed. This role works closely with Business Unit leaders, Contracts, Legal, Project Management, and other stakeholders to assess compliance requirements, identify vulnerabilities and risks, develop standardized processes, and maintain clear documentation of compliance obligations across international contracts.

  • Must possess strong leadership, negotiation, and both oral and written communication skills.
  • Capable of conducting independent research and analysis.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and the ability to appropriately administer the authority of the position.
  • Must be diplomatic and able to make difficult decisions while remaining objective.
  • Must possess basic computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related discipline and eight (8) to ten (10) years of related business work experience in auditing, compliance and regulatory analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in law or business is preferred.
  • Experience in auditing, researching and investigating complex matters and prior training experience in ethics or compliance related topics.
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) Certification, and Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) membership strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review international contracts and identify applicable compliance requirements, including company policies, contractual obligations, FAR clauses, regulations, and international standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance catalog for each applicable contract, documenting requirements, responsible parties, due dates, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor contract performance and business practices to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, FAR requirements, and international standards that may impact company operations or contracts.
  • Compare compliance requirements across contracts to identify common requirements, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Develop, document, and maintain compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistent execution of contract and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to establish processes, controls, and accountability for meeting compliance obligations.
  • Maintain accurate and current compliance documentation, records, and supporting materials.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes and improve consistency across Business Units and international operations.
  • Conduct compliance vulnerability assessments to identify potential areas of exposure, non-compliance, or operational risk.
  • Support formal compliance risk assessments and develop recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Escalate significant compliance concerns and potential contractual or regulatory violations to appropriate leadership.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of contract compliance and monitor completion of required actions.
  • Track compliance requirements, milestones, documentation, and corrective actions within the compliance catalog.
  • Prepare reports and summaries highlighting compliance status, risks, gaps, trends, and recommended actions.
  • Support internal compliance reviews, audits, and assessments as needed.
  • Maintain visibility into upcoming regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements to help Business Units remain proactive.
  • Partner with Business Unit leaders, Contracts, Legal, Project Management, and other functions to understand contract requirements and support compliance execution.
  • Provide guidance and resources to stakeholders regarding applicable compliance requirements and processes.
  • Promote a proactive compliance culture by helping teams understand not only what is required, but how to meet those requirements consistently.
  • Support international projects in implementing compliance requirements practically and sustainably.
