About The Position

This role is responsible for managing customs clearance processes, including documentation, communication with forwarders and vendors, and license renewals. The Compliance Coordinator will ensure smooth operations for produce import shipments and coordinate with various internal and external teams.

Requirements

Associate's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
Must be able to communicate fluently in both languages (Korean and English) to coordinate with forwarders, vendors, and internal teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail for managing licenses (Weight & Measure, Fishery) and permit applications
Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional communication style for external vendor and agency coordination

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in customs clearance, logistics, or administrative compliance is preferred

Responsibilities

OBL distribution and documentation management
Communication with forwarders and payment processing for ocean freight and handling charges
Vendor statement review and payment processing
Sharing arrival schedules for produce containers (including air shipments) with the Produce Team
Produce import file updates and coordination with the Produce Team
Weight & Measure License renewal
Fishery License renewal
Coordination of scale inspections for new stores and processing Scale Device Permits Applications
