Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience in healthcare auditing or coding, with a focus on home health and hospice.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
Nice To Haves
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Home Care Clinical Specialist (HCS-Dor HCS-O)
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) (for clinical candidates)
- Certified OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C)
Responsibilities
- Conducting risk-based audits focused on documentation integrity, medical necessity, and regulatory compliance for home health and hospice services.
- Supporting Piedmont's Compliance Program by identifying areas of risk, leading investigations, and delivering targeted education to mitigate future compliance vulnerabilities.
