About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Compliance & Regulatory Analyst for its McGriff Specialty division. This role will provide compliance and regulatory services to McGriff teammates, focusing on areas such as carrier/intermediary approval and contracting, broker service agreements, outside producer agreements, business associate agreements (BAAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), surplus lines taxes, insurance licenses, carrier appointments, and other compliance and market conduct matters. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of company agency management system/accounts receivable system, and all company computer applications.
  • Strong client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and service orientation.
  • Cooperative nature and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems.
  • Ability to utilize leadership skills by providing direction, constructive feedback, development and training.
  • Ability to motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale.
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate with clients to obtain information, commitment or payments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance and regulatory services to McGriff teammates.
  • Manage carrier/intermediary approval and contracting.
  • Oversee broker service agreements (fee agreements).
  • Handle outside producer agreements.
  • Process business associate agreements (BAAs).
  • Manage non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  • Address surplus lines taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance licenses.
  • Manage carrier appointments.
  • Handle other compliance and market conduct matters.
