The Compliance Support Specialist/Compliance Analyst will be part of the Regulatory Affairs team and support the organization’s compliance program by assisting with vendor management, regulatory filings, audits, and operational compliance activities. This role works closely with the Compliance Lead and cross‑functional business partners to ensure regulatory and contract compliance requirements are met, documentation is complete and accurate, and client expectations are consistently supported. This role is primarily remote/hybrid, with occasional on-site presence required as needed to support compliance and security oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, healthcare, risk management, vendor management, or a regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with healthcare regulations (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, state licensure).
  • Familiarity with information security or audit frameworks (e.g., HITRUST, SOC, HIPAA).
  • Prior experience supporting audits or regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vendor management intake and review process from a compliance perspective.
  • Review vendor submissions to ensure completeness and accuracy of required documentation, including information security materials, compliance attestations, and related approvals.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional review and secure required sign‑off from Information Security, Legal, Finance/Budget, and other applicable business areas.
  • Track vendor compliance documentation and escalate gaps or deficiencies as needed.
  • Assist with state licensure renewals and new license applications.
  • Support the Compliance Lead by gathering required regulatory documentation and organizing materials into a complete, submission‑ready format.
  • Maintain organized records to support audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Assist with annual and ad‑hoc client audits and information requests.
  • Gather requested audit evidence and supporting documentation and prepare it in a clear, client‑ready format.
  • Support audit timelines, document tracking, and response coordination under direction of the Compliance Lead.
  • Periodically work onsite to assist with oversight of visitors and physical access controls to support compliance with security, regulatory, and HITRUST requirements.
  • Ensure visitor logs, escort procedures, and access controls are followed according to policy.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance records, trackers, and documentation repositories.
  • Participate in internal compliance initiatives, remediation efforts, and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned in support of the compliance program.
