Perform investigator duties for the Research Misconduct (RM) program, working independently. This role involves identifying documents for review, cataloging evidence, and maintaining chain of custody. The analyst will conduct reviews and analyses of pertinent materials in accordance with UF and federal regulations, as well as analyze source data, other evidence, and interview transcripts. A key responsibility is drafting assessments and reports for RIO approval using compliant templates. The position also requires maintaining internal logs and records for the RM program, performing data entry, assisting with scheduling management plan meetings, and managing files including record retention and destruction requirements. Maintaining case timelines, including federal deadlines and communications, is crucial. The role involves managing faculty committees, including appointments, conflict of interest reviews, meeting facilitation, scheduling and recording witness interviews, reviewing and correcting transcriptions, and providing committees with cataloged and organized evidence. The analyst must maintain an understanding of research regulations, ethics, and guidelines to ensure compliance with UF regulations and sponsor-specific requirements for each case. Familiarity with UF Research contracting, award negotiation, and financial management, including an understanding of 2 CFR 200, is also necessary.
