About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Administrator to join our Compliance Department. This role will support the Compliance team on updating and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, managing documentation, assisting with annual employee training, vetting of vessels, counterparties, and third parties, and helping to improve existing compliance policies and processes. Additionally, the Administrator will record and coordinate the internal review and approval of invoices, maintaining invoice records and other administrative tasks for the Legal and Compliance Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance or administrative-related role
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Ability to analyze, comprehend, and formulate compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Ability to accurately complete applications and forms.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Responsibilities

  • Research compliance regulations and policies.
  • Keep up with internal compliance requirements and regulatory updates.
  • Regularly review sanctions and regulatory updates from the Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and other agencies and prepare reports as needed.
  • Review and support the revision of current compliance policies and related documentation.
  • Complete compliance forms, requests, and applications. Assist with compliance questionnaire requests.
  • Support the compliance vetting of vessels, counterparties, and intermediaries by analyzing reports and evaluating risks. Drafting reports for approval and keeping accurate records.
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise compliance documentation and records.
  • Help create compliance training presentations for employees.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including tracking subscriptions and payments, preparing invoices and reports for approval, and maintaining records of agreements and invoices for the Legal & Compliance Department.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in all communications and documentation.
  • Ensure all actions, decisions, and representations reflect the company’s legal and ethical obligations under applicable law.
  • Foster collaboration between legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure cohesive compliance and governance practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
