Complex Medical Unit Registered Nurse
About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Complex Medical Unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC), a Level I Trauma Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role is a 13-week contract with an anticipated start in November or December 2026. The position is on the night shift, with block scheduling available, and has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. Nurses are required to work every other weekend; there is no on-call requirement. The opportunity offers experience at a top-ranked hospital in Eastern Tennessee and a Magnet-recognized hospital. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
