About The Position

Chevron is hiring a Complex Facility Process Engineer to develop and optimize systems in complex operating facilities that separate, purify, transform, transport, and manage the sale or disposition of hydrocarbons, water, and contaminants. The role focuses on how fluids interact with equipment to meet required composition specifications, physical conditions, and flow rates. The engineer takes ownership of assigned units and work, building technical depth and independence with guidance and mentoring from experienced engineers. The position supports refinery operations through troubleshooting, technical recommendations, reliability and hazard analysis, performance improvement, test runs, and engineering support during unit turnarounds. It involves collaboration with specialists, engineers across disciplines, subject matter experts at other facilities, and project teams. Individual schedules may require flexibility to respond to refinery upsets during off-hours. Turnaround work may entail working at heights and entering confined spaces.
