The Complex Assembly Operator position is located in Dixon, IL and will be responsible for assembling components or products according to specifications, along with bringing production lines component parts from inventory. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, 4:00am to 2:00pm.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Previous experience in assembly
Packing experience
Computer knowledge
Ability to read and understand work instructions
Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity
Basic math and measurement skills

Familiar with basic hand tools

Responsibilities

Assemble parts and components according to specifications and work instructions
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
Picks orders according to pick list or shipment orders
Counts and/or weighs piece parts/finished goods; performs cycle counting
Uses computer to encode piece parts that were removed and/or returned to inventory. In addition, encodes and puts away incoming material
Handles finished goods
Prepares shipments for next day, second day, third day, international, consignee billing, and other specialized shipments
Operate hand tools, small machinery, and other equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area
