About The Position

The Completions Spec (OnsCon) applies conceptual knowledge of onshore completions and, with moderate guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, solves a range of straightforward problems. The role involves analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, its processes, and its customers. The Completions Spec understands critical business drivers and applies technical experience, judgment, and precedents to solve problems in straightforward situations.

The position oversees completion activities for onshore construction projects, coordinating project stakeholders, monitoring schedules and progress, and supporting testing, commissioning, and handover of completed facilities to operations teams. It also includes mentoring project team members to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in construction completion for onshore oil and gas facilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, particularly safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and construction drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with EPCI projects and familiarity with related terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion of onshore construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Develop and maintain project completion schedules, track progress, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of completed facilities to operations teams.
• Manage and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support for successful project delivery.
