Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Completions Coordinator to lead the day-to-day activities of a Completions shop. This role involves planning and scheduling workloads, ensuring manpower and material availability to meet workflow targets, and supporting service center goals. The Completions Coordinator will also assist management in achieving company goals and policies, and comply with all duties and responsibilities outlined in the repair station inspection manual and standard operating procedures manual. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of previous aircraft experience in the specific discipline of the position. The role also involves updating and maintaining Job Safe Analyst Cards, supporting supervisors in timely completion of work, and fully supporting corporate safety, FOD, and 5S programs. The coordinator will assist the team to achieve milestone dates and meet goals through hands-on work and guidance, ensuring required equipment and material are available. They will also ensure all required paperwork and documentation are accomplished, design and engineering drawings are followed, and conduct weekly safety audits. Leading or serving on Lean and Quality Improvement teams, assisting in maintaining shop equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies are also key responsibilities. Additional duties include protecting aircraft interiors, leading local and corporate safety initiatives, and continuously improving processes using Lean Manufacturing tools. The role may involve flight tests on aircraft in support of certification and final phase testing. The Completions Coordinator is expected to set standards for professionalism, communication, team building, and recognition of team members by example, and perform other duties as assigned.
