About The Position

The Compensation Professional I provides analytical and administrative support in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs. This role is responsible for conducting market analyses, assisting with job evaluations, supporting annual compensation cycles, and ensuring internal equity and adherence to compensation guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related HR function.
  • Experience with HRIS or compensation management systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with market pricing and compensation analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Analytical skills to interpret compensation data and market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of compensation principles and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of compensation programs and processes, including base pay, incentive plans, and salary structures.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using compensation survey data.
  • Support job evaluation activities, ensuring alignment with job architecture and organizational guidelines.
  • Prepare compensation-related reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Maintain compensation data in HR systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist with the annual merit, bonus, and salary planning cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal compensation policies.
