About The Position

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or Senior Specialist to oversee and administer the employee prefect rewards and smart benefits. The Compensation & Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the company’s compensation and performance management programs for salaried & hourly employees. This role manages key compensation processes including compensation planning, market benchmarking, job evaluation, merit increases, promotions, incentive programs, and compensation analytics. The position is also responsible for administering the performance management cycle for salaried employees and ensuring appropriate linkage between performance results and compensation decisions. In addition, this role coordinates expatriate compensation and tax-related processes, prepares and validates compensation-related payroll inputs, and partners closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing through ADP. The position reviews payroll results, resolves discrepancies, and provides appropriate review and approval before payroll is finalized. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly proficient in compensation practices and HR data analysis, and able to work effectively across HR, Finance, Payroll, headquarters, external advisors, and business leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance) or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on Compensation, Total rewards, Performance Management, or related areas.
  • Hands-on experience in compensation planning, salary structures, market benchmarking, annual merit review, performance management, and compensation analysis.
  • Experience administering performance management processes
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, or validating compensation-related payroll data.
  • Proficiency in extensive HRIS such as SAP, ERP, and ADP and workforce planning software/tools
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR, payroll, Finance, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation information with discretion.
  • Solid technical proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer competitive and internally equitable compensation programs aligned with business needs and company philosophy.
  • Maintain salary structures, job grades, pay ranges, and compensation guidelines, including job evaluation and market benchmarking.
  • Manage annual compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, bonuses, and other salary actions.
  • Analyze compensation competitiveness, internal equity, and pay compression, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Support Total Rewards benchmarking and ensure compensation practices comply with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Administer the performance management process for employees, including goal setting, interim feedforwards, year-end evaluations, and calibration.
  • Provide guidance and communication to managers to ensure timely and consistent completion of performance reviews.
  • Analyze performance results and support alignment between performance ratings and compensation decisions.
  • Coordinate compensation and payroll-related processes for expatriate employees.
  • Review and validate compensation data received from headquarters and provide accurate payroll inputs to the Payroll team.
  • Review payroll results and coordinate with Payroll, Finance, headquarters, and external tax advisors on compensation and tax-related matters as needed.
  • Prepare and validate compensation-related payroll inputs and review payroll results processed through ADP for accuracy.
  • Coordinate corrections with the Payroll team and provide appropriate review and approval prior to final processing.
  • Support compensation programs for salaried and hourly employees, including wage structures, shift differentials, premiums, and incentive programs.
  • Monitor internal equity and pay compression across plant positions.
  • Analyze compensation and HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to compensation, performance, workforce costs, and employee movement.
  • Support compensation budgeting, workforce planning, and management decision-making through data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate compensation and performance-related data in HRIS and related systems.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR teams to ensure data accuracy and effective system integration with ADP.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, reporting, and process improvements related to compensation and performance management.
