About The Position

The Compensation Analyst supports the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs for Engineering, Product, and Enterprise Systems Experience. This role serves as a key analytical resource responsible for market pricing, compensation analysis, annual compensation programs, reporting, job evaluations, and operational support while partnering with Compensation Consultants, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets to develop compensation insights and recommendations. While this role provides consultative support on routine compensation matters, its primary focus is executing compensation projects, performing market analysis, maintaining compensation data, and supporting enterprise compensation initiatives within a global SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with compensation surveys and market pricing methodologies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • Experience supporting a global technology or SaaS organization.
  • Experience with UKG Pro.
  • Familiarity with Radford, Mercer, WTW, or other technology compensation surveys.
  • Experience supporting technical organizations such as Engineering, Product, or Information Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market pricing for new and existing positions using technology compensation surveys (e.g., Radford, Mercer, or equivalent).
  • Analyze market competitiveness, internal equity, range penetration, pay compression, and salary positioning.
  • Prepare compensation recommendations supported by market data and business analytics.
  • Assist in maintaining salary structures, job architecture, geographic differentials, compensation guidelines, and market data libraries.
  • Support annual compensation processes including merit, bonus, equity, promotions, and salary structure updates.
  • Perform data validation, quality assurance, testing, and reporting for compensation programs.
  • Assist with compensation program administration, documentation, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Support implementation of new compensation policies, tools, and processes.
  • Evaluate new and revised jobs using the global career framework and job architecture.
  • Recommend job codes, levels, families, and market matches based on established methodologies.
  • Maintain job documentation and compensation records to ensure consistency and governance.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc compensation reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Analyze compensation trends and identify risks related to internal equity, market competitiveness, and pay practices.
  • Support enterprise initiatives including organizational changes, acquisitions, restructuring, and compensation integration projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve compensation processes, reporting, automation, and data quality.
  • Ensure compensation transactions comply with company policies, governance standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Audit compensation data and resolve discrepancies within HR systems.
  • Support pay transparency, compensation documentation, and audit requests.
  • Maintain data integrity across compensation and HRIS systems.
  • Provide analytical support to Compensation Consultants, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition on compensation decisions.
  • Assist with new hire offers, promotions, transfers, retention requests, and market adjustments using established compensation guidelines.
  • Respond to routine compensation inquiries and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Build effective partnerships across HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business organizations.
