Data and Compensation Analyst: As a Compensation Analyst , you will play a critical role in CAVA’s People & Culture function, specifically within the Total Rewards team. This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and supporting strategic decision-making across Compensation, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. Your insights will help drive equitable, data-driven, and competitive compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role will recommend solutions to drive the corporate compensation philosophy and support industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced), HRIS systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) .
  • Experience working with compensation survey tools and market pricing methodologies .

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Compensation Analysis & Market Pricing : Regularly assess and benchmark roles to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Support Job Development & Career Framework : Ensure job descriptions align with career architecture and development guidelines.
  • Evaluate New Job Requests : Assess and classify new roles by reviewing existing job structures, conducting market analyses, and determining FLSA status.
  • Maintain Market Reference Points : Provide oversight of compensation structures to support the annual review process.
  • Administer Salary Surveys & Market Analysis : Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to determine the organization’s market position while managing compensation systems and tools.
  • Material Preparation: Assist in the preparation of materials for presenting compensation strategies and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Compensation Support : Assist in configuring and maintaining compensation data including oversight of the annual merit process.
  • Support Variable Compensation & Payroll : Assist in calculating, processing, and submitting variable compensation for payroll accuracy.
  • Develop Benchmarking & Compensation Recommendations : Conduct analysis and provide data-driven compensation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition & HR : Partner with recruiting and HR teams to advise on salary offers, pay structure, and compensation components.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay informed and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices.
