Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Four years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply compensation principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of market pricing tools and compensation survey processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
  • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during the work shift.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.

  • Professional coursework or certification preferred (CCP, SHRM, or HRCI designations).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing and maintaining job descriptions that adhere to system-wide standards.
  • Provide clear, data-driven guidance on offers and internal promotions.
  • Conduct job pricing using established survey data and analyze pay positioning against market benchmarks.
  • Manage the compensation inbox, respond to inquiries, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the PayFactors market pricing tool, coordinating survey submissions and tracking timelines.
  • Monitor wage and hour regulations to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
  • Prepare regular reports and handle ad hoc requests related to compensation analysis.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HRIS and compensation data for accuracy and integrity.
