About The Position
Senior Helpers is a trusted name in in-home senior care, dedicated to helping older adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of the clients and families we serve.
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience or training
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring, including use of walkers or wheelchairs
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dishes)
- Assist with medication reminders (not administration)
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or home environment to your care team
- Maintain accurate visit notes and documentation
