This specific opportunity is for experienced drivers seeking consistent work hauling chemicals (Nash/Sodium Hydro-sulfide) with pre-loaded trailers. Pick-up points are in Fairburn, GA, and various other GA locations, with destinations within 500 miles. The schedule offers home daily with occasional overnight trips (1-2 per week), and drivers can come home each load.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Tanker & Hazmat endorsements required
- Tanker experience required
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- TWIC Card
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
- Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions
Responsibilities
- Hauling chemicals (Nash/Sodium Hydro-sulfide)
- Operating pre-loaded trailers
- Picking up from Fairburn, GA, and various GA locations
- Delivering to destinations within 500 miles
