About The Position
Country Gardens, a state licensed assisted living facility, is seeking a part-time companion. This position involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, passing medications, engaging in social activities, performing housekeeping duties, and providing transportation using the facility van. The role is for 30 hours per two-week pay period, with shifts from 10:30 PM to 9:00 AM, consisting of three 10-hour shifts. Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior assisted living, adult foster care, or nurse aide work experience and enjoy helping others
- Valid non-restricted driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, this may include dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Passing medications
