About The Position
Veritas is seeking an experienced Companion Caregiver for a young male client with autism, epilepsy, and sensory integration issues. The client is independent but needs support with all activities of daily living, including bathroom visits. The caregiver will provide engaging, friendly companionship and encourage him to complete ADL activities. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, six hours each day.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver.
- Good energy levels to engage with the client.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in sports.
- Experience with behavioral issues.
Responsibilities
- Support the client with all activities of daily living, including bathroom visits.
- Engage with the client and encourage him to participate in ADL activities.
- Build a bond with the client and provide friendly companionship.
