About The Position
We are urgently hiring experienced caregivers for Full-Time and PRN (as-needed) positions in the Denton area. As a Companion Caregiver, you will help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by providing compassionate companionship and assistance with daily living activities. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for seniors preferred
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or equivalent caregiving experience is welcome
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide transportation to appointments and run errands
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing and personal hygiene, Dressing and grooming, Toileting assistance, Mobility and transfers, Walking assistance, Feeding assistance when needed
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition
