About The Position
At Home Services for Independent Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and reliable companion caregiver for an elderly couple in Port Jefferson, NY. This is an ongoing part-time position beginning Friday, May 23, 2026. The primary responsibilities will focus on assisting the husband and may include meal preparation, verbal encouragement and support with non-medical physical therapy exercises, possible grocery shopping/errands, light household tasks, companionship, and general supervision.
