About The Position
Touching Hearts at Home is seeking compassionate Care Partners to join their Capital District team. This role involves providing non-medical care and companionship to seniors and adults in their homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent. The position focuses on one-on-one connections and making a difference in clients' lives.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable individuals who embody Compassion, Commitment, Communication, and Consideration.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
- 20-25 hours of availability.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts.
- Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
- Must be able to pass background and driving checks.
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Provide social companionship, reminders, and encouragement.
- Offer standby assistance and safety oversight.
