About The Position

A veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active or eligible state veterinary license.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• DEA license and USDA accreditation preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals.
• Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.
• Develop and explain individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members to support quality patient care.
• Participate in surgical and dental procedures as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with veterinary, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice environment.
