Compactor/Baler Technician
About The Position
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Compactor/Baler Technician in New Jersey. The technician repairs, diagnoses, inspects, and maintains equipment including vertical balers, trash compactors, self-contained trash compactors, electric jacks, dock levelers, edge-of-docks, dock seals, and handicap carts or scooters. The role provides courteous and professional service and requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards. The position is paid hourly, with compensation ranging from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience. A company service vehicle, fuel card, and cell phone are provided. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing compactors, balers, and/or other industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Welding and fabricating experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must have own tools.
- Clean driving record.

- Experience as a road mechanic.
