Holly Poultry is a trusted food service brand supplying poultry to well-known restaurants. The company is rooted in the community and actively gives back by donating chicken to local food banks. They are currently hiring a Compact Grader Lead for their 2nd shift operations. This role involves overseeing the grading team, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and packaging standards, supporting production efficiency, providing leadership, and maintaining a safe work environment in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or poultry processing preferred.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production and grading team members during 2nd shift operations.
  • Inspect, sort, and grade chicken products according to quality and customer specifications.
  • Compute, prepare, scan, and print inventory labels to support accurate product identification and inventory control.
  • Maintain a steady flow of production in a fast-paced processing environment.
  • Monitor product quality and remove defective or non-compliant items from the line.
  • Train employees on safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
  • Adapt to changing production needs and assist in improving current processes.
  • Accurately read numbers and use scales as part of daily production responsibilities.
  • Support other production areas or departments as needed.
  • Communicate production, quality, or equipment concerns to supervisors and management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, USDA/FDA regulations, and food safety standards.
