About The Position

This temporary, non-exempt position plays a key role in preparing apartments for new residents during the turn season. The Community Turn Maintenance Assistant will support maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition and provide an outstanding living experience for community members. The role reports directly to the Property Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write fluently.
• Basic computer skills for completing assigned tasks.
• Physical ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift/move loads up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working with ladders.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to live within 30 miles of the property.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service efforts by providing exceptional assistance to current, future, and past residents.
• Assist with the unit turnover process, ensuring apartments are ready for new residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas of the property, proactively identifying and reporting issues.
• Picking up litter and debris from the grounds.
• Watering plants, flowers, and shrubs to maintain landscaping.
• Cleaning and maintaining swimming pool areas.
• Sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing breezeways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Provide support to the office team by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and assisting with lease execution and move-in paperwork.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
