Under the general supervision of the Mental Health Supervisor (Skill Building), develops, monitors, and implements individual skill building activities for consumers participating in out of home skill building activities. Coordinates activities for and provides direction to direct care staff. Develops skill building curriculum and coordinates the work assigned staff to insure compliance with standards of support methods and monitoring. Reviews documentation to ensure compliance to Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) policies and procedures. Performs as liaison with reimbursement and audit personnel. Assumes delegated responsibilities for Community Ties management in the absence of the Mental Health Supervisor. May review attendance and other paperwork for the purpose of billing. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumer in the recovery process.
