About The Position

The Community Table Coordinator will support events in the store including monetized events and sampling. This role involves executing community driving and monetized events in the stores 4-5 times a week, assisting with in-store events such as Birthday Parties and Pairings, preparing and conducting events at the Community Table, assisting with Thirsty Thursday events, and supporting vendor-sponsored sampling at the sampling stand. The role also includes assisting with large catering sales, working with the CMM on local social posts, supporting the CMM on outside selling with an emphasis on seasonal goals, providing support to Cart 2 Class as needed, and supporting events in the community including activations at sponsorships and store-based outreach.

Requirements

Passion for food and ability to tell stories.
Experience in retail, preferably with the Lowes Foods Brand.
Knowledge of Lowes Foods store departments.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Strong communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
