About The Position

GT Independence is a family-founded, leading national Financial Management Services (FMS) provider that supports individuals participating in self-direction programs, helping them manage their long-term care and support services at home and in community-based settings. The CSL Program Manager is responsible for directing and supporting all aspects of operations for Community Supported Living in their region. The CSL Program Manager will work with key functional areas to ensure quality supports and budget compliance and is responsible for the implementation of Individual and Behavioral Support Plans, supervision of individuals’ supports and overseeing ongoing development of programs.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of experience managing behaviors and diverse medical needs
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Strong Leadership and development skills
  • Knowledge with managing a budget

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Direct Support Professionals in individuals’ homes and apartments and are responsible for training, supervision, scheduling and performance appraisals of the Direct Support Professionals working in these programs.
  • Ensures the needs and desires of the individuals are met or exceeded through the targeted use of staff.
  • Manage personnel and ensure staff coverage of the program at all times.
  • Provide supports and services for the program in instances where other staff are not available.
  • On-call responsibilities and providing care to those supported.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe environment in the home that meets the needs and preferences of the individuals living in their own home and complies with the policies of the organization and all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
