This position involves supporting community members in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side (DTES) through relationship-building, compassionate care, and practical assistance. The role focuses on engaging individuals with dignity and respect, fostering trust, and responding to both immediate and longer-term needs. Responsibilities include connecting guests to appropriate resources such as housing, clothing, shelter, recovery programs, and other community supports. The Outreach Worker may also assist at other UGM locations in Vancouver as operational needs require. This is a casual position with flexible and varying hours, scheduled based on program needs and availability. The starting wage range for this position is $ 23.82-$26.03 per hour.
