About The Position

Community Support Technicians are needed for the Wilmington area to work one on one with the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities population providing Supported Living. The technician will provide assistance with daily person needs and habilitative skills. This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility on the days of the week. Universal MH/DD/SAS is a comprehensive, statewide, CARF-accredited community human service organization dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse achieve their full potential to live, work, and grow in the community. Universal strives to provide integrated and quality services to our persons served within the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse.

Requirements

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Provide one on one support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Supported Living setting.
  • Assist individuals with daily personal needs.
  • Assist individuals with habilitative skills.
