Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and a minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience working with adults.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a non-Human Services field and a minimum of four (4) years of post-graduate experience working with adults.
  • Master's Degree in a Human Services field and a minimum of one (1) year of post-graduate experience working with adults.
  • Master's Degree in a non-Human Services field and a minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience working with adults.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing community-based behavioral health services.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Active or associate-level licensure in North Carolina preferred: LCMHC / LCMHC-A, LCSW / LCSW-A, LCAS / LCAS-A

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, helping them build the skills, confidence, and support systems necessary to live successfully within their communities.
  • Serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, providing individualized, community-based interventions that promote recovery, independence, stability, and overall wellness.
  • Meet members where they are, both physically and emotionally.
  • Through meaningful engagement, therapeutic interventions, crisis support, skill development, and care coordination, help individuals overcome barriers that impact their daily lives.
  • Assist a member in managing symptoms, connecting them with community resources, strengthening family relationships, or developing coping strategies.
  • Work independently in the community while receiving ongoing support and clinical guidance from your Team Lead and fellow behavioral health professionals.
  • Partner with community providers, healthcare professionals, and support networks to ensure comprehensive care.
