About The Position

The services provided include Supportive Psychotherapy, assessment, diagnosis, medication administration and management, assessment of symptoms and effects and side effects of medication, symptom management support, substance use assessment and counseling, group therapy, advocacy, case management, assistance with all areas of daily living including financial, benefits, vocational, educational, housing, spirituality, family, social recreational, self-care, home care, and many other tasks as necessary to assist consumers with successful community living. CSP services are provided primarily in community-based settings with the individual. Services include transporting consumers to appointments at the office and in the community. Time spent in the office is spent in meetings and doing clinical charting. 80% of the work is done in community settings with consumers. Staff and students receive mileage reimbursement for using their vehicles for the work. There are a few agency vehicles but staff and students are expected to have access to a personal vehicle for use in the internship.
