ROLE SUMMARY Reporting to the Manager of Communication, the Communication Intern (Unpaid) plays an important role in writing, operations, and the development of content generation for Alliance’s internal and external communications and efforts. As a member of the Communications Team, the person in this position will write a variety of content, including but not limited to: newsletter communications to staff, support with intranet and website updates, and interviewing staff and scholars for feature stories highlighting the work and success at Alliance. The Communication Intern (Unpaid) should be someone who loves storytelling and can produce high-quality content quickly, is collaborative, has an eye on equity in all written and verbal communications, and is passionate about educational equity in Los Angeles. The Communication Intern will be managed by the Director of Communication.
