About The Position

The Community Support Associate at the Floyd County Homeless Shelter is responsible for providing billable CSA services as outlined in client treatment plans, ensuring accurate and timely submission of service notes. Key duties include providing assigned shift coverage at the Floyd Shelter, managing telephone communications for program-related information, and promptly reporting any incidents or concerns to the administrative supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder or co-occurring disorder
• Basic computer operations (Microsoft Office programs, email, internet, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide billable CSA services as identified in client’s treatment plan and accurately submit service notes in a timely manner.
• Provide assigned shift coverage at the Floyd Shelter.
• Answer the telephone to provide or receive information related to the program.
• Report incidents or concerns related to the Floyd County Homeless Shelter Program directly to administrative supervisor in a timely manner.
