Requirements

Strong knowledge of crisis intervention principles and supportive counseling techniques.
Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and families.
Organizational abilities to maintain detailed records and coordinate care effectively.
Proficiency in computer software tools.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
One (1) year experience providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illness or emotionally impaired.
Must be registered with the Board of Counseling to practice as a QMHP or be eligible to register as a QMHP-Trainee within 30 days of employment.
Valid Virginia Driver's License.
Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
