About The Position

This role is the daily heartbeat of Whole Foods Market on social, owning our brand voice on social, and bringing it to life through real-time customer engagement, content publishing, and user-generated content strategy. This person will manage all posting across our social platforms, engage authentically with our community, and surface and amplify the best UGC to fuel our content engine. A strong writer with a sharp editorial eye, this person ensures every word we publish sounds unmistakably like Whole Foods. This person is a strong collaborator, able to work cross-functionally with team members who oversee WFM brand voice on other channels.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience managing content development, and campaigns
  • Experience in brand identity and voice development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
  • Experience with social media management and scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social)
  • Familiarity with UGC rights management and content amplification workflows
  • Grocery, food, or lifestyle category experience
  • Knowledge of platform-specific best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the voice of Whole Foods Market on social, engaging with customers in real time across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube in a way that is on-brand, authentic, and community-first.
  • Own daily posting across all social platforms, managing scheduling, copy, and coordination with the broader content team to ensure timely, high-quality publishing.
  • Identify, curate, and amplify user-generated content that reflects the Whole Foods community, managing permissions and building a robust UGC library.
  • Write and review copy across social touchpoints, maintaining a consistent, distinctive brand voice that is warm, food-forward, and culturally relevant.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure alignment of Brand Voice on social with other channels.
