About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the community center, pool area, and common grounds. The attendant will perform daily checks, address resident concerns, and manage administrative tasks related to facility rentals and vendor oversight. This is an hourly, non-salaried position.

  • Ability to inspect irrigation pump locations and check circuit breakers.
  • Ability to respond to phone calls and emails.
  • Ability to respond to resident complaints.
  • Ability to visit premises and meet with residents.
  • Ability to provide an action plan for complaints.
  • Ability to verify issue correction.
  • Ability to check overall cleanliness.
  • Ability to check pool water for clarity and cleanliness.
  • Ability to verify heater settings.
  • Ability to inspect golf cart for cleanliness and charge.
  • Ability to report issues to vendors.
  • Ability to respond to residents' needs and requests for assistance.
  • Ability to note and report illegal dumping.
  • Ability to investigate and photograph landscaping issues.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and organized files.
  • Ability to keep calendars and bulletin boards up to date.
  • Ability to issue and track amenity access FOBs.
  • Proficiency with PC for Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, file searches, and specialized applications.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, real-time employee reporting on the laptop.
  • Ability to manage clubhouse rental contracts, collect funds, maintain schedules, submit funds, and issue refunds.
  • Ability to receive invoices and forward them.
  • Ability to engage and supervise contractors and vendors.
  • Ability to purchase and maintain appropriate supplies.
  • No degree or association management required.
  • No certificates or licenses required.

Responsibilities

  • Check pool area for charged chair lift battery.
  • Pick up litter in pool area, community center, walkways, and tennis courts.
  • Blow off pool deck and surrounding areas.
  • Rearrange pool furniture for neatness.
  • Replenish restroom supplies (hand soap, toilet tissue).
  • Empty wastebaskets in restrooms and kitchen.
  • Rearrange community center furniture and ensure tidiness.
  • Place 'in the field' sign on community center door and set up voicemail.
  • Conduct tours of community common areas, checking landscaping and irrigation.
  • Verify irrigation operation and report issues.
  • Use moisture meter to test questionable areas and report issues.
  • Remove fallen debris from walkways.
  • Pick up daily debris from common areas.
  • Inspect irrigation pump locations for leaks and check circuit breakers.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails.
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints, visit premises if necessary, and provide action plans.
  • Verify correction of issues and notify relevant parties upon resolution.
  • Check overall cleanliness of community center (inside and outside), including restrooms.
  • Replenish supplies as needed.
  • Straighten pool furniture.
  • Blow off pool deck, courts, pavilion, and walkways.
  • Check pool water clarity and cleanliness.
  • Verify heater settings for pool and spa.
  • Inspect golf cart for cleanliness and charge.
  • Report pool/spa issues to the pool vendor.
  • Report landscaping issues to the landscape vendor and follow up.
  • Respond to residents' needs and requests for assistance.
  • Pick up trash and debris in CDD areas.
  • Note and report illegal dumping to Manatee County Code Enforcement.
  • Identify and report landscaping or irrigation issues in CDD areas.
  • Investigate and photograph landscaping issues reported by residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and organized files.
  • Keep calendars and bulletin boards up to date.
  • Issue and track amenity access FOBs.
  • Use PC for Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, file searches, and specialized applications.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time employee reporting on the laptop.
  • Manage clubhouse rental contracts: collect funds, maintain schedules, submit funds to accounting, and issue refunds.
  • Receive invoices and forward them to the District Manager or upload to the designated dropbox.
  • Engage and supervise contractors and vendors, including oversight of activities and payments.
  • Purchase and maintain appropriate supplies.
