About The Position

McLean's multidisciplinary programs treat a broad range of psychiatric illnesses across the full continuum of care. This per diem position requires a minimum of four (4) shifts per month with at least two (2) being worked on the weekends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Requires verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in collaboration with others.
  • No experience required.
  • Must have Medication Administration Program Certification, or successfully complete the Medication Administration Certification course provided by the Hospital.
  • Applicants who are not currently MAP(Medication Administration Program) certified will have a specified time period from the date of hire, to successfully complete a McLean sponsored MAP certification program.
  • All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
  • Required to complete electronic medical records training and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • One year patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
  • Driver’s license (MA, CT, NH, NY, RI, VT) preferred (varies by program), and ability to satisfactorily meet hospital driving standards.
  • Medication Administration Program Certified [MAP - Massachusetts] preferred
