This position requires the candidate to live in the state of Delaware and involves 100% community field-based travel throughout the state. The purpose of this role is to manage, develop, implement, and sustain community relations programs and initiatives. This includes establishing and maintaining positive relationships with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations, and advisory committees for all health plan populations. The representative will collaborate with quality improvement and medical management teams to assess systemic needs and develop health improvement initiatives. They will also develop and implement community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and grow membership, identify and cultivate relationships with community partners for public policy initiatives, and manage the charitable giving program. The role serves as the primary contact for the health plan at community events and is responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of community events and agency presentations. Producing accurate and timely reports, communications, and marketing materials is also a key responsibility, along with adhering to and promoting compliance with federal and state regulations and contractual agreements.

Requirements

  • Candidate MUST live in the state of Delaware.
  • Community Field Based Travel 100%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, community relations, social work, business administration, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of marketing, sales or community relations experience.
  • Current state’s driver’s license.
  • State Driver’s License.
  • Obtain current state’s Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities
