About The Position

Coordinates functions connecting the Hospital District with the community. Arranges advertising with local media for the Hospital District. Work with Administration, Department Managers and Medical Staff for needs for the Hospital District. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and retaining referrals from market physicians and referral sources for primary service lines and promoting EMHD services. Tracks provider referral patterns and implements programs aimed at influencing these referral patterns. Facilitates the retention of provider relationships, growth of new service line business and other sales and referral development responsibilities as an extension of hospital leadership consistent with the hospital's overall functioning and established organizational goals.

  • Some bending, stooping, and reaching is required with the lifting of items up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates functions connecting the Hospital District with the community.
  • Arranges advertising with local media for the Hospital District.
  • Work with Administration, Department Managers and Medical Staff for needs for the Hospital District.
  • Developing and retaining referrals from market physicians and referral sources for primary service lines and promoting EMHD services.
  • Tracks provider referral patterns and implements programs aimed at influencing these referral patterns.
  • Facilitates the retention of provider relationships, growth of new service line business and other sales and referral development responsibilities as an extension of hospital leadership consistent with the hospital's overall functioning and established organizational goals.
  • Work with Administration on meetings, events, or any event that may tie into the community with the Hospital District.
  • Work up the advertising for each event.
  • Make arrangements needed for each event.
  • Compile and analyze reports, and statistics.
  • Compose letters/memorandums.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules.
  • Research, plan, organize and manage resources.
  • Understand healthcare services, utilization, and market data.
  • Maintain HIPAA required and all other confidentiality while working with confidential matters on a daily basis.
  • Follow safety guidelines and policies for the hospital district.
  • Driving will be required.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
