About The Position
Senior Helpers - Polk County is seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Relations Coordinator to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This role plays a vital part in building and maintaining strong relationships within the community to promote our services and support our mission of providing exceptional senior care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in community relations, outreach, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with the senior care industry.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Established relationships in the senior care industry is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community outreach strategies to raise awareness about Senior Helpers' services.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
- Represent Senior Helpers at community events, health fairs, and networking functions.
- Coordinate educational workshops and seminars to inform the public about senior care options.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Track and report on outreach activities, community engagement, and referral sources.
