What You’ll Do Guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun, the Community Relations Coordinator (CRC) works collaboratively under the guidance of the Community Relations Director (CRD) to support in achieving occupancy and revenue goals. The CRC will assist with the day-to-day operations of the sales department, including providing tours, managing inquiries, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records. The CRC will provide exceptional customer service to prospective residents and their families to ensure a positive experience and increase the likelihood of move-ins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • Compassion, kindness, and the desire to work with elders and their families.
  • Computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be goal-directed.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
  • Able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tours of the community to prospective residents and their families.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, text, email, or in person.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inquiries, leads, move-ins, and move-outs.
  • Utilize appropriate inquiry tour skills, always including knowing apartment availability.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding getting deposits and move-ins.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the department as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless move-in process for new residents.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding acuity levels and licensure.
  • Participate in sales meetings and trainings to stay up to date on community offerings and sales strategies.
  • Stay informed on competitor communities and their offerings.
  • Responsible for supporting the CRD, collaborate with team, and to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Reinforce creating a person-centered, elder directed culture of caring.
  • Model the Compass Senior Living Leadership Values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun.
